Tiredness and Fatigue are common problems. Often, it is not a medical issue but one that can be reversed by a change of lifestyle.
Fatigue can be a normal and important response to physical exertion, poor eating habits, emotional stress, boredom, or lack of sleep. There are going to be days when you wake up exhausted.
You’ll still have to survive the workday, but it doesn’t have to be miserable. Here’s how you can get through your day and actually be productive, too.
#1. Keep Moving
Go for a brisk walk before your lunchtime. You might feel too tired to exercise, but regular exercise will make you feel less tired in the long run, and you’ll have more energy. Even a single 15-minute walk can give you an energy boost, and the benefits increase with more frequent physical activity.
#2. Stretch Yourself
Stretching can help relieve any stress or fatigue in the body. You can do simple stretching exercises right from your desk.
#3. Get into the sun
Fifteen minutes in the sun can increase your vitamin D levels. The vitamin, along with B, is responsible for fighting fatigue. People with deficiencies often experience tiredness, moodiness, aches, and stress. While a little extra sunshine can’t replace the benefits of consistent sleep, soaking in the rays can pep you up a bit.
#4. Gaze Away
Looking at your screen for a long duration continually can mentally tire you. Look away 20 feet every 20 min for 20 sec. This will help your brain to get a quick break & your eyes to relax.
#5. Avoid caffeine
If you drink a lot of caffeine, your body’s response to it will change. You could drink over eight cups and still feel sluggish—but that doesn’t mean you won’t get a headache, irritability, dehydration, and host of other side effects that come with caffeine-overload.
Deal with stresses that are keeping you up at night. Change your environment to allow for better sleep. Because it is really important to have a good sleep at night, it keeps you fresh and active all day long.
