Hey there, you see i use computer & digital devices 10-12 hours a day. How long do you spend in front of a screen? Five, Seven, more than ten hours? Well, i think most of us spend around 6-9 hours a day on a digital device.

But let me tell you with the reducing screen sizes from computers to smartphones you are pushing your eyes towards more damage. 

Your eyes have to work harder to focus on things close up, so this can make them tired & can lead to decreased eyesight.

 It doesn’t matter how old you are or how good your eyesight is my friend, all of your screen time isn’t good for you.

Today i will share some of the most awesome & kick-ass techniques that Will Protect Your Eyesight From Damage, it always worked out for me. Hope this will help you too!





#1. Exercise your eyes frequently

Keep your eye rolling, repeated blinking & focusing on a distant object to give some respite to your strained eyes.

The exercise i personally do is, i bring an object as close to my eyes as possible while still being able to focus on the object clearly, then focus on an object 10 feet away from me. Repeat this exercise for 3 to 5 minutes several times whenever you feel your eye straining.




#2. Be cautious of your screen time

Reduce digital eye strain by making use of your screen time wisely. Move the screen so your eyes are level with the top of the monitor.

That lets you look slightly down at the screen. Every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds so you can blink naturally and give your eyes time to relax. 




#3. Use appropriate glasses

No my friend i am not talking about your regular glasses, it’s the computer glasses designed specially to work on computer.

Meet your eye specialist, he/she will recommend a good pair of these that will help properly protect your eyes from computer glare. Computer glasses specifically designed to reduce eye strain, headaches, eye fatigue & eye soreness.

During your exam, get your eye doctor know how often you use a computer at work and at home, how far your eyes are from your screen when you sit at your computer. So, your eye doctor can test your eyes in every aspect.
