No doubt cell phones have made our lives easier, more manageable and more convenient. It is much more than just a means of communication. It entertain us, play music, movies and play games with us.
But it has a bad side too. Do you feel your phone is much safer than other in terms of emitting radiations, please understand that there’s still no such thing as a “safe” cell phone.
We are exposed to nearly 100 million times more electromagnetic radiation than our grandparents were.

Here are a list of guidelines you can follow to prevent yourself from radiation
#1. Place your phone away from bed while sleeping
Strive to keep your bedroom as free of electronic radiation as possible. If you’re spending each night sleeping with your phone, stop.
When you are sleeping your phone continues to emit radiations, which can lead to dangerous diseases. So, keep it at a 4-5 hand distance while sleeping.
#2. Don’t use the mobile when a signal is weak
When signal quality is poor, your phone emits more radiation. Some phones can ramp up their emissions 1000-fold in areas where the signal is poor.
Use your phone when you have the maximum number of bars indicating the best signal strength.
#3. Reduce download or streaming of large files
If you are fond of streaming a movie for an hour or few, you should definitely avoid it.
It’s much more dangerous than having your phone with you at night, as the radiation frequency is much higher when you are using internet continuously for a long time.
#4. Put your cell phone switched off at night
To limit your radiation exposure, whenever possible, simply turn your phone off. Airplane mode disconnects the phone from WiFi but radiations still don’t stop radiating. So, the best way is to switch off your phone while sleeping.
#5. Always use a corded phone
Cordless phones put out radiation, so keep at least one old school phone that has a cord, so if you are going to make a lengthy phone call, you can keep yourself free from the dangers of radiation.
Not only from phones, you are exposed to these harmful EMFs from a wide range of sources including your TV, Wi-Fi, small and large appliances.
Electromagnetic radiation may surround us in modern everyday life at any place you go. It’s your responsibility to prevent yourself from this.
There are a few things you can do to protect your family while at home, such as electromagnetic radiation filters and even special paint and fabrics that can help shield your home.
