Are you aware of your body well enough, let’s test! Below i have listed some facts about human behavior & body, go through it & see weather you know them or not!
#1. Your shoes are the first thing people notice about you
It’s now a known fact, you may have been through this some where else also. But i don’t think it holds truth.
Personally when i meet someone the first thing i notice about them is their face, hair texture, & eyes. I don’t know why, maybe they’re the top most region of the body. What do you see first in a person, let me know in the comments below.
#2. One can survive without food for weeks but not for 11 days without sleep
Don’t believe it, try it out! Just kidding, but this is really true. The sleep pattern and the body’s own response to lack of sleep are what makes it hard to say how long you can survive without sleep.
When you don’t sleep for a while your body releases stress hormones in the blood stream and the blood pressure rises.
This easily can cause heart attacks, especially with older people or people of fragile health. It’s also been estimated that people who sleep less than 6 hours a day, have a significantly shorter life-span. So, it’s really necessary to have adequate sleep.
#3. People who laugh a lot are healthier
It makes no sense talking to anyone seriously, smile don’t cost you so why not keep smiling while talking to anyone.
A good laughter is compared to doing a exercise because when we smile we stretch muscles throughout our face and body, our pulse and blood pressure go up, and we breathe faster, sending more oxygen to our tissues.
Now this doesn’t mean you just keep laughing all day, it’ll look weird. Avoid laughing unnecessarily but don’t miss out on opportunity.
#4. If you sit for more than 11 hrs a day, there’s 50% chance you’ll die within next 3 yrs
Sitting for long kills, it really does. Maybe you think your diet is good enough or you do your exercise daily, you don’t smoke or drink but this will not make any difference to this fact.
Sitting long disrupt metabolic function resulting in decreased insulin sensitivity which triggers really unhealthy metabolic changes that can thus lead to deadly diseases.
It’s no so that if you’re at a desk job where you have to sit for long will harm you. If you take a walk for 3 mins after 45 min work, you’re good to go leaving your body with no harm.
#5. One’s height is determined by one’s father & weight by one’s mother
We knew traits are inheritable, but what’s interesting to know is what comes from which parent. Well, people easily talk about, ‘hey your baby got a nose same like you’ but it’s a really complicated process indeed.
It’s been proved that one’s height is determined by his/her father & weight by mother. If dad is short, the chances are the baby will grow up short. If you want to know about it deeply, search for it you will get enough of it.
#6. Sleeping without a pillow reduces back pain & makes your back stronger
You probably don’t have the practice sleeping without a pillow but when you were a child you could fall asleep anywhere without a pillow. Isn’t it? Start practicing it now, below are some of its awesome benefits.
It will also lead to less neck, back, and shoulder pain, higher quality sleep, and even fewer wrinkles! Sleeping without pillow also ensures quality sleep because the body is allowed to be at a normal level and not elevated like with a pillow.
