One crucial part of skin care that many let go for granted is scrubbing. It is crucial to unclog pores and remove dirt that settles within the skin to reveal that glowing skin underneath! Below are the 6 Best DIY Face Scrubs For Beautifully Glowing Skin!

#1. Honey sugar scrub

Sugar when combined with honey and a small amount of oil makes an effective, relatively inexpensive facial scrub.
Honey provides numerous benefits for the complexion, including antibiotics that help control acne-causing bacteria, natural humectants that keep the skin smooth and vitamin B that soothe dry, irritated skin.

And sugar acts as a scrub to remove dead cells & other impurities from your face.

Directions to make:

  • Combine equal parts of honey and white sugar in a small bowl. For a single use, 1 tablespoon of each is sufficient
  • Stir in about a teaspoon of olive oil or any other oil for a smooth consistency
  • If your skin is dry or sensitive, use equal parts honey, sugar and oil
  • Stir the mixture briskly to blend
  • Wash your face with lukewarm water and pat it dry with a soft towel. Use clean, moist fingertips to massage the scrub gently into your skin
  • Remove the scrub by rinsing your face with lukewarm water after 5 minutes

  • Next you’re going to mix two cups of soft coconut oil with 1 cup of salt. You can use any salt you like. I used epsom salt
  • Add a few drops of essential oils to the mix if you like. Mix well then store in a container
  • If you have sensitive skin you may want to swap out the salt for sugar. Sugar scrubs are more gentle on the skin
