With so much misinformation, it makes perfect sense to be afraid and uncertain who to trust. My effort here is to clear some of the greatest myths about weight loss that people may not be so aware of, in the hope that it will inspire you to take care of your health and make it better.

Myth #1. Eat 6 small meals for a faster metabolism
When compared to eating 3 meals a day with 500 calories compared to eating 6 meals a day with 250, there is no greater burning of calories.
The point here is that since meal frequency really doesn’t matter, focus on finding what works best for you. Much more important is what you eat, not when you eat it for weight loss.
Myth #2. Exercise alone can help you lose weight
Let me be clear, for a variety of reasons, exercise is amazing. Your body needs exercise and something you should do!
- Better blood flow
- Burning more calories
- Improved heart health
And much more are some of the advantages of exercise. But it’s not that it is all you need to lose weight. So, this is nothing more than a myth!!
Myth #3. You can crunch your way to a 6-pack
The body has your muscles anatomically located below where you store fat. You probably already have great abs from the natural movements.
Let me tell you one thing straight, There are no crunches or sit-ups that will give you a six-pack. Abdominal exercises will certainly strengthen your core muscles, but only by reducing your body will a six-pack become visible.
Myth #4. Eating less will help you lose weight
It’s not true! Not exactly-of course, eating less, but eating less fat and foods that are bad for you and full of empty calories, such as chocolate (sadly) and other delicacies, is a good idea. But you still have to eat a normal amount of food so your body has energy and can do what it needs. Breakfast skipping is a big no-no.
You need to eat first thing to kick-start your metabolism. Waiting to eat until later in the day may mean that you will be overly hungry and eat too much.
Myth #5. Carbs are evil
Carbohydrates are an important part of a healthy diet. If you eat them in the right quantities and don’t throw a lot of fat on top of them, such as butter on your potatoes, they won’t make you weigh heavily.
Instead, switch to whole grain and wholemeal carbs: Brown rice and wholemeal bread. You will also increase your intake of fiber if you leave the skin on potatoes.
Myth #6. It’s Going to Take a Lot of Time And Effort to Succeed
I think many people feel it takes so much time to get healthy because they are resistant instead of really believing it takes hours and hours a day. My CPR instructor, who lost more than 100 pounds a year, changed every meal from eating McDonald’s and fast food to “real food” like healthy meats, vegetables, and brown rice. He changed one meal at the beginning.
No exercise, no major change in life. Not counting countless hours of calories. One hundred pounds lost a year. The vast majority of your success (whether you want to slim down or a young man who tries to look like someone in “300”) comes from the food you eat.
And once you’ve embedded good eating habits or slowed down weight loss, you can add the maximum effect in exercise.
