Everyone gets a headache from time to time,  it’s the most common type of pain. Headaches are one of the most common health problems that affect most people at one time or another.

 There are more than 150 types of a primary and secondary headache but Tension headaches are the most common type of headache. 

The pain of a headache can make day-to-day life a miserable challenge, and forces us to head straight for the aspirin. This is a sticky situation because ultimately that will only perpetuate the problem.

 

 

 

 

 

 

People often use medicines or painkillers to get relief from headaches. But there are many natural remedies that can treat your headache quickly and easily. 

Natural remedies for headaches may take a bit more thought than simply popping a pill, but don’t brush them off.

Here are some quick, natural remedies to cure persistent headaches, rather than pop a pill:

 

 

 

 

 

#1. Hydrate yourself

 

 

On average we don’t drink enough water daily, and that alone is cause for a headache. Coffee, alcohol, sugary drinks, all are dehydrating agents and should be avoided.

Simply sipping water may seem too simple to actually work as a headache remedy but it can, and often times does. So, leave the pill packet in the medicine cabinet and grab yourself a glass of water.

 

 

 

 

#2. Massage with some peppermint oil

 

 

Peppermint oil has a wonderfully soothing effect when you’re suffering from a headache, easing the discomfort and clearing your mind.

If you have sensitive skin and find that it irritates it, try diluting it with a bit of olive oil or water.

You should definitely try this out as it generates a long-lasting cooling effect on the skin which is really effective and relaxing.

 

#3. Apply some ice

 

 

A cold pack may create a numbing effect & therefore, dull the sensation of pain. Wrap it in a thin towel to protect your skin.

Keep it on for 15 minutes, then off for 15. Repeat. Your pain will immediately disappear way faster than your painkiller.

 

 

 

 

 

A headache is a good indicator that your body is missing something – maybe you need to take a breather, drink some water or change the way you eat.

You may have a vitamin or nutrient deficiency or a food sensitivity that is causing this built-up tension. Your body is telling you that something needs to change, so begin to heed those signals.

Taking medicines and painkiller definitely relieves pain but also reduces your immunity against the disease so it’s way better to fight headaches in a natural and healthy way also it works faster than your painkillers.
